I would like to introduce myself ....

I am private nurse Nancy Schwab, 53 years old and knew from a young age that it is my passion to help people. I have been a healthcare professional since 1999. I am a certified doctor's assistant and nurse. In addition, I have taken many courses and training to continue to develop myself.

I gained work experience at the OLVG in Amsterdam. Both in an executive role as a doctor's assistant, nurse and coaching role for colleagues and students.

Over the past decades, I have witnessed many changes in healthcare. Due to the cutbacks in health care and the resulting time pressure, this is at the expense of personal attention. I want to continue to pursue my vision, value and standards on nursing.

Deliberately and motivated I have stepped out of my comfort zone, pursue my dream and passion, to offer my professionalism to you. I provide care that you yourself would like with attention and respect. I won't be satisfied until you are.

Customized care

Following an intake interview with you and any carers (eg family). Together with you I will look for possibilities and solutions so that you can continue to live at home as long as possible. After hospitalization or if you want to continue living independently at home.

I can offer you personal care, guide and support, prepare medication and administer medication. In addition, in consultation with the doctor/specialist, I perform nursing procedures, such as; insulin injections, wound care, giving injections or pain relief and providing palliative care.

Collaboration with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. This concerns, for example, occupational therapy, home adjustments.
